Katie Borland (Co-Artistic London Director) first performed in Ny-Lon Fusion’s staged reading of Dog Sees God Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, playing CB’s Sister. She has had a varied career with recent theatre performances including: Agnes of God (Rose Theatre); Totally, Practically Naked in my Room on a Wednesday Night (Team Angelica - Tristan Bates Theatre); Home (Team Angelica - Tristan Bates Theatre); and Manoeuvres (Team Angelica - Drill Hall Theatre). Recent film includes: Mine (Film Lab); Lorraine (NFTS); Beyond the Rave (Hammer Productions); Rogue (Burn Hand Films); The Feral Generation (Urban Way Productions); 28 Weeks Later (DNA Films). Katie is a writer on the Royal Court Young Writers’ programme and is currently developing her second full length play Intersection.

 


 

Alicia Charles (Co-Artistic London Director) Trained at the Webber Douglas academy London. Since graduating professional stage experience includes a tour of 'Invisible Mountains' for the National Theatre and 'Tall Pheonix' with The Belgrade theatre. Television experience includes 'Doctors' for the BBC and 'Coronation Street' for Granada television. Alicia has most recently been working on short films. Film experience includes 'Hamlet Little' directed by acclaimed director Suri Krishnamma and 'Secret Beau' with Fortune films directed by Cherry Barret. Secret Beau was recently screened at the Cannes film festival which recieved a great response.

 


 

Max Davis: (London literary Officer) Trained at the Drama Centre London. Theatre includes: What You're Really Missing (Arcola), The Importance of Being Earnest (UK Tour), Chains (Trafalgar Studios), Firing Line (Hampstead Theatre), Candida (UK Tour), The Mousetrap (West End), Decadence, Latin (King's Head), Othello (Andrew Sketchley) and King Lear (Baron's Court). Film Includes: Twelfth Night (dir Trevor Nunn), Gotta Have Hope, Hamlet and Crushed. Directing Includes: The Audition, A Word In Your Ear, The Jamaican Heiress and The Changeling. Max directed his first film, First Sight, last year and is currently working on his follow up, Crouch End. He also writes for BBC Radio 7.

 


 

Roxaneh Renton (London literary Officer) Gained a Master’s Degree from Edinburgh University before taking Acting and Shakespeare courses at Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She moved to New York to attend the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) where she studied Meisner and Strasberg acting techniques. After completing her training, Roxaneh joined AADA’s Repertory Theatre Company for a year and played a variety of fantastic British and American roles in plays by Noel Coward, Chekov, David Hare and Lanford Wilson. Roxaneh moved to Los Angeles to study improvisation at The Groundlings and was fortunate to be cast by the cutting edge Rude Guerrilla Theatre Company for the US debut run of, ‘Pale Horse’ by Joe Penhall. Since her return to the UK in the summer of 2007, Roxaneh has worked consistently in theatre and film and is currently on stage at The Courtyard Theatre in the UK premiere of Charlotte Delbo's "Who Will Carry the Word". Florian Hutter hails from Montreal Canada. From a young age he always watched a lot of Charlie Chaplin movies and felt a need to mimic. After studying theatre at The Dome, in Canada, he moved to London, where he worked on various projects with the BBC, Channel 4, along with some fringe theatre. He met Elliot at Actor's Centre, and together they would spark a life-long working-friendship. Florian was there in the very early stages of Nylon and is excited eventually join the forces of the Collective in the coming years. Currently in Paris. He recently got back from a tour in Austria with l'École des femmes from Molière.

Dawson James was born in May 1985 in England. Winning a scholarship to Sydney, he trained intensively as a screen actor with renowned acting coach Sandra-Lee Patterson. He was invited to become a founding member of the - Actors' Screen Collective - working with acting practitioner Michael Ferguson. Dawson also works closely with award winning writer/director Rikki Beadle-Blair and his company "Team Angelica" He has an exceptional ability to learn accents and develop skills quickly.
