About Nylon

Nylon Fusion is a collective of diverse artists with trans-atlantic roots that explore classical and contemporary work through an ensemble approach.

  • The Trans-Atlantic Fusion Series April 14th through April 30th
Two plays written by playwrights from each side of the Atlantic performed in repertory! Nylon Fusion co-founder British playwright Elliot Joseph's Wisdom of Obscurity and American playwright Alisha Silver's Paper Dragon have similar themes of homosexuality, love, and how ultimately we are all products of our society. They also showcase the differences between two very distinct cultures: England and America! (NY/Lon)
  • Fuente Ovejuna
When the town of Fuente Ovejuna is brutalized by a tyrannical commander, it falls on the shoulders of a young woman to ignite a rebellion. Fuente Ovejuna ran from June 14th- July 3rd to sold out audiences. Nylon Fusion Collective had a very exciting season: The support shown to Nylon by Paul Haggis, John P Shanley and even Robert Zuckerman from the NYS Council of the Arts among many others was, and is, astounding. Thank you for supporting.
  • You Are Here
You Are Here at The Gene Frankel Theatre November 2011- Created collaboratively during workshops over the summer, You Are Here explored themes of rootlessness and alienation and featured a rich ensemble of memorable characters.
  • John Patrick Shanley, Wynton Marsalis and Paul Haggis at our Fundraising event!

Nylon Fusion Collective's "This Round's On Us" short play festivals! Please submit a short play for our next one in April! How can you fool a fool?
